Thousand Islands Categorized as COVID-19 Green Zone

Through various collaborative efforts between local government and residents, Thousand Islands Regency has succeeded in returning its status to COVID-19 Green Zone.

We must maintain this positive result by continuing health protocols monitoring in the region and implementing clean and healthy lifestyle

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi conveyed, COVID-19 cases in Thousand Islands has decreased to 0 cases.

Commission D Member Appreciates Green Zone Status on Untung Jawa Island

"Since March 2020, we record total 525 COVID-19 cases in Thousand Islands. 514 patients recovered and 11 died," he informed, Tuesday (4/6).

The current Green Zone status is the result of cooperation from all parties, both Forkopimkab, RT/RW, community organization, and community elements who always carry out health protocols monitoring and various innovations for preventing and controlling COVID-19.

"Thanks to all parties, we must maintain this positive result by continuing health protocols monitoring in the region and implementing clean and healthy lifestyle," he asserted.

Although most residents who work as public servants, elderly, and community leaders have received vaccines, his side still reminded them to adhere to health protocols until pandemic is over.

"Hopefully with an orderly health protocol, we can maintain Green Zone status until COVID-19 pandemic ends," he stated.
